Amity High School senior, Harris Anderson was recently honored as Student of the Month for October.  The Woodbridge Rotary Club and Woodbridge Social Restaurant have partnered to honor an Amity High School student on a monthly basis.
Harris Anderson has been described by his guidance counselor Brian LaRochelle who nominated him, as “a terrific student and involved musician during his time at Amity”.  In addition to a high GPA in a challenging course load comprised of many honors and Advanced Placement classes, Harris shares his piano, violin and trumpet skills in the school as well as his wider community.

Anderson served as a piano accompanist for many of Amity’s musical ensembles and directed music at his church.  He has been active in the Neighborhood Music School and participated in state and regional ensembles where he has played his trumpet and violin.  Presently, he is filing applications to conservatories and is looking forward to studying piano performance as an undergraduate.
